February 29, 2000 Dear Mark: Participating in your work-shop, "The Art of Practicing Safe Stress," was a real pleasure. If the individual comments that I have heard are indicative of the whole, and I'm sure that they are, you a smashing hit! The greatest accomplishment of your presentation was, in my opinion, the ability to create a safe and supportive environment in which our group could voice their work related frustrations. It was wonderful to see these people working together, nodding their heads in agreement, and finding creative ways in which to express what they were feeling. The final result was a sense of camaraderie, something much needed in the workplace environment. After all, we spend more time with our fellow office mates than we do with our families. Thank you very much, Stress Doc, for your time and effort in helping us to laugh our way through some very real negative feelings. Sincerely, Judy L. Marvel |
